		<description>It&#039;s funny, but for me the process was somewhat reversed - I stumbled onto Dovecote Crest trough the Comic Creator’s Alliance, not the other way around.
 As a fellow history enthusiast and real life re-enactor (1848-1947, but Romanian history rather than US) I really like the comic, not only for the historical references, but also for the endearing characters, interesting plot  (that I guess is mainly the domain of the writer, but it somehow felt stupid to post a separate comment on her half of the page - and in any case, I&#039;m an artist rather than a writer myself, so I&#039;m biased) and least but not least, outstanding art.  
Bearing that in mind, I think I will keep my field binoculars trained this way in the future.
