Last week I found that I had volunteered to help animate the title sequence of a student film. We finished just today after 13 straight hours of photographing and compiling the frames. It was a crazy deadline, and I only wish I’d been able to draw more frames to smooth things out. It was tons of fun, though, and great practice! 2D animation just makes me so happy. This summer I’m definitely planning on doing some little animations of Dovecote Crest characters, maybe even a (very) short scene if I have the time… Hold me to that!

And as Hailey mentioned, don’t forget to submit art for our break between story arcs next week. Send to ink(dot)emu(at)gmail(dot)com.
