crazy summer adventures time

It happens that I have an internship in Los Angeles this summer, and so will be spending 8 weeks with an actual full-time job, starting next Monday. I don’t yet know exactly how busy it’s going to keep me, but I do know that it’ll be a big commitment. For the moment, I’m tentatively going to say that for the next two months comic updates might be off-schedule. This is an intense bit of story arc, and so I’m not going to stop updating, but things might get posted late or on weird days.

In the meantime, I’m actually on the road right now, on the way to said internship… so tomorrow’s comic might be posted Friday depending on how things work out. Driving down the west coast is amazing, though! There was a whole stretch of California that was all rolling golden hills. There was one with a lone tree standing in the fields, and it really could have been Dovecote Crest ;)

Does that mean there might be an impromptu West Coast Dovecote Crest mini-convention/gathering?! XD

    Good luck with your internship!!!

  3. Murrday says:

Internship is very good practice and also gives you job experience on your resume – it is necessary and sensible to prioritize that. And Dovecote Crest is worth waiting for, when circumstances require that.

May your internship go well. :)

Hey, welcome to LA! Stay away from the 405 freeway and you’ll do just fine.

Oh my lord driving in LA is terrifying. I think I’m going to try to avoid EVERY freeway if I can help it… Thanks for the welcome though! :)

  5. Tina says:

Have fun in LA! I know a lot of people out there and they seem to like it!

Congrats on the internship too! It’s really valuable to your resume when you graduate. A lot of graduates are missing this when they go out and find a job. Makes a big difference!

  6. Mercy says:

Congratulations on your internship! I hope it works out well for you.

We’ll all wait happily for Dovecote Crest — we don’t mind if it’s late, as long as we still get our fix!
