FRANCE
After one of the most intense quarters of school I’ve had yet and a whirlwind spring break of travel and internship interviews, I’ve touched down in my home for the next two months: the village of Lacoste in southern France.
Dovecote has been out of commission for quite some time now, which has been just as frustrating for me as I’m sure it was for everyone wondering where we’d gone to. While I do have a lot of projects still ongoing while I’m here, I feel so refreshed and excited to be doing art here that I really want to make good on my promise and pick up Dovecote again. I’m hoping for once-weekly updates, possibly on Sundays or Mondays depending on how things go. Keep an eye out this coming week – I should have a new page up soon enough :)
Bienvenue ! J’espère qu’il fait aussi beau dans le Midi que chez moi, en Bretagne !
Hooray!! I’m glad things have calmed down over there! :) I think we all kinda figured we’d have a bit of a wait. Real life is important too! Hope you enjoy France!!
Aww man! Moi je veux y’aller en france! Can I stowaway in you suitcase? ;)
I’m glad everything’s back on track! But don’t feel bad, real life is more important than comics!
Yay! Be sure to check out the sewers of Paris, if you can. I hear they’re pretty awesome. Really, it’s a museum!
Huzzah! I’ve heard there are U.S. Civil War buffs all over Europe. Maybe you’ll find a French re-creators group!
YAY!
One of my most memorable trips in France was to Lacoste. I took a 6am walk around the town and I don’t think I have every felt more serene in my life. The SCAD buildings were especially neat. I hope you enjoy it and I can’t wait to see more of the comic!
Thank you for posting an update, Ms Underwood. I’ve been diligently voting away on TopWebComics and checking in to see if life had let up on you two. Enjoy, and come back safely!
We’ll wave as we speed by, visiting our daughter in Brussels, spending 3 romantic days in Paris, then picking the daughter up for a week in Frankfurt. I can’t wait to see the comic back up again.
