Sidewalk arts!

First of all, thanks for all the thoughtful comments on my last post – it was really interesting to read what everyone had to say.

Secondly, it is summer. Okay, fine, classes are still going on, but this Savannah weather is telling me it’s summer. I had a chance to be summery and ignore my homework to go to SCAD’s annual sidewalk arts festival. It was awesome (even the bizarre ballet with people in balloon suits), and lots of fun to see all the chalk art. And, in an exciting random coincidence, as I wandered through the alumni area, I recognized a character from the Paul Reveres beneath my feet. Lo and behold, there was Tina, artist of said comic! So finally I meet someone from the interwebs in real life. Pretty sweet.

I just feel it necessary to note that the Confederates are clearly kicking the Union’s asses in terms of facial hair in the above comic.

It was nice to meet you at Sidewalk Arts! At least my square was recognizable! XD I’m not so good with those traditional art materials. I need a computer square with an undo button.

It was totally weird to be in Savannah again! However, I now feel REALLY old.
