Oh, the archives don’t take too long. Hour and a half, tops. : ) Woo, new Dovecote!
So anyways, on the front page it says that this’ll be the final round of Dovecote. Two questions:
1) What’s next?
2) Are there plans to put together something printed of DC? I’d be down with that.
For the summer we’ll be doing all the little backstories Hailey wrote for everyone way back when the comic was barely on paper yet. A bit of insight into all the character’s lives seemed like a good way to tie up the comic for now :)
As for print… I can’t tell you how much I’d love to. But as of now, there would be a ton of logistical problems with formatting. I drew the comic specifically taking advantage of the infinite scrolling canvas of the internet – so some of the pages are super long, and others super short. I’ve considered a couple times going back and actually just redrawing the entire archive to format it for print. We’ll see where we’re at by the end of the summer I guess :P If there’s enough support for it, I’d definitely give it some thought!
