Nope, should definitely not utter that word on a field full of people with guns.
I thought this was as funny the first time I read it as much as the next person, but now that I reread it, it reminds me of a scene from Enemy of the State (and Burn Notice for that matter, but that’s a different conversation). They don’t exactly say “shoot”, but it’s as sad as accidentally saying “shoot” on a real battlefield in the wrong context.
Now I just got how depressing doing that would actually be. >>
