aww :) finally!!! I love all of Charlie’s expressions…how you can actually see it in her face, in her eyes, when she realizes what she’s been missing this entire time. :)))

  2. Tina says:

Oh man, I can totally tell that guy is tons of fun. He’s single, right? XD

    I’m glad Charlie understands.

  3. Blair says:

Haha, that’s how people always look at me when I talk about history…they just don’t FEEL it, do they? ;-)

  4. Sara says:

And BAM… she just realized that working as a ‘real historian’ isn’t what she really wants. ^.^ I love how you can tell by her face.

  5. Stephen says:

She says “Oh” but she’s thinking “FFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-”

  6. Christina says:

    YAY! She finally gets it!

… and shortly after this, Charlie gets the hell out of there… right?

I can’t wait to see what happens on Saturday

  7. HermioneGrangerTwin says:

YAY! Charlie! You get it! Go back! Go back to your man! :)

    GO! JEREMY NEEEEEEEDS YOU!

    :D

  8. Sean says:

Finally, Charlie gets it! And that guy is such a pushover. Psh.

  9. JasonF says:

That light just came on. “These guys don’t get it.”

Re-enacting isn’t the same as living it, but it’s a lot closer than simply reading about it. Empathy leads to a deeper understanding.

    Great work on the strip!

  10. Phenoca says:

    O.o
Now I get what Pyroreaper meant on page 66.

  11. Golux says:

Yes, actually it is. The dehumanization necessary to kill each other juxtaposed with the realization that they are still humans.

  12. Pattypixie says:

I hate it when people like that come to events or talk to me about history.
That’s why they call Re-enacting “Living History”
Because we do…as close as we can, at least.

  13. Zovesta says:

I’m so much like that guy whenever my mom tries to talk to me like Charlie did. :c

  14. Jeanette says:

That’s exactly what Charlie said to Jeremy before she left. I think it just clicked for her how wrong she was.
