Sort of a side note, but in the fifth panel the things crossing Charlie’s chest have switched places…and in the last panel they are overlapping differently.
That said, though, I love the sneaking in the bushes…”OH, hey Tess!”
Ha, I knew someone would catch that :P I drew a lot of this comic while on the plane home, and late at night after getting back into Portland, so by the time I noticed the mistake I just sort of said screw it and posted the comic anyways. Maybe I’ll go back and fix it eventually…
The buttons on Charlie’s shirt also switch sides after the fifth panel. I always find it annoying to draw buttons, because you have to figure out which side they are on. I know for a guy the buttons are on the guy’s right, and for a girl they’re on the girl’s left. When the shirt is closed, the buttons show on the other side, beyond the partition. Since Charlie’s supposed to be wearing a guy’s shirt, I conclude that the last half of the page has the incorrect button placement. That would include Tess’s, too, it seems. See this is why I don’t like drawing buttons. >_<
I LOVE Charlie in this comic! She’s so full of energy, and absolutely adorable. I suspect that Ben is going to try and hide out so as not to make himself seen, and that being the case I suspect that he still holds a torch for Tess. It should make the next few comics veeeeeeeeery interesting!
I probably should have mentioned…I LOVE the expressions on this page. I took a look back at the first few pages and it blows my mind how much the art has evolved. The expressions were great, even back then, but the coloring, with the little details like the hair, and the bricks, and the leaves…wow. Just wow.
Haha!
“OH, hey, Tess, didn’t see you there, I was just… taking a nap behind this bush…”
xD I love Tess’s girlish expression in panel six and her eye-rolling expression in panel eight! Awesome!
I love Charlie’s sheer delight at being able to make fun of Tess.
Ben’s sneaky look in the 2nd panel is great!
charlie’s totallly making “ben” face in the last panel.

Last panel. Charlie’s face. Priceness. <3

Good job. As always.
Wait a minute… what about the ghost? Are we going to get back to the ghost?
Don’t worry – the ghost hasn’t been forgot :)
Haha I love that Ben didn’t get caught. Poor guy, though. I’m kind of worried about him.
And I love literally everything about panels 5 and 6.
You guys are freaking awesome. I love this comic so much.
