For some reason I imagine that the mustached blonde man in the second panel may be Jeremy’s father… probably wrong, but whatever.

    • Mari says:

I thought I saw Ben in there too – but notice how his face is hidden? I wonder if that’s for a reason or just a coincidence?

      • Jen says:

I don’t think it’s Ben. My understanding is that his not from Arkansas. And he didn’t see his first Dovecote battle reenactment until he went with his friend when he was older. At least that’s what I got from his short history story.

    • wolfgirl says:

Yeah, doesn’t Jeremy mention his father working at the Dovecote Crest Museum, or something?

Let me just say that, although this is brief, catching up on these short stories you’ve been posting have been… just… ALL THE FEELS ;3; It reminds me how Dovecote Crest was one of the inspirations for me to start my own webcomic. I just… I LOVE this comic so much, and I’m so thoroughly enjoying these short stories. siiiigh ~<3

  3. Hope says:

Being able to tell a story/comic strip without any dialog takes some talent. Good job. :)

  4. Jeanette says:

This reminds me so much of class field trips, when I was little, especially the fact-laden historical ones, like this. Everything was not-really-paying-attention, in-my-own-little-world, la-la-la, and then — LUNCHTIME! Freedom! Huzzah!

  5. dadman says:

Nice dappled sunlight that reminds me of the end of the ghostly story arc. Beautiful.

  6. doug says:

Tess is the only character in the story that doesn’t seem to fit with everybody else. She’s not a history buff at all. The question is how did she really decide to do something. Again you guys do great work.

  7. Dana says:

Only half of the first panel is showing up when I load the page…

Chelsea FC Badge Crest Sports Poster Print (Kitchen) Great price and it came in a narrow, small box. What more could a fan want? Great idea for a sctikong stuffer!
