Eeeeeeee! Oh, man, I am bouncing in my seat right now. The weekend could not come fast enough! The tension! Witness as I shake a dramatic fist at the heavens, and utter another girlish squeal.

  2. Snap says:

Oooh, the design/perspective of that last panel is very, very nice. I love the tense build up you guys are doing here, and I totally can’t wait for the next page. Hehe, I love this comic.

  3. Natalie says:

Great expressions as always. All this climantic tension is so exciting!

So… if I tell you officially that I want to do fan art for the guest strip time, it’s much more likely to happen. :) So here you go, I’m going to try to squeeze it in. It’ll be so hard not to put everyone in frock coats, though. ;)

    • Bridget says:

:D Thank you so much! I’ve been meaning to do some Dreamer fanart for a while, so I’ll follow your example and just tell you so that I actually get it done. And hey, nothing wrong with frock coats! :)

    License and registration please.

I hope Jeremy’s a good improv actor, because this looks like a totally unplanned deviation from the script. ;) I love the strip and I always look forward to seeing what’s next. Great storytelling and great characters. I absolutely love Ben and Tess and the relationship they have with each other. I’m waiting for Ben to needle Tess one time too much and for her to give him a much-deserve smack upside the head. *G*

The way the Confederate in the last panel holds the gun looks a bit odd, like they have their right hand wrapped around the front of the butt of the rifle. Could just be me.

  7. Redd says:

Jeremy’s used to having a scene with Charlie there, isn’t he? Poor Jeremy. xP

Something tells me that Confederate isn’t supposed to be there. xD Maybe it’s the hat?
Also, I kind of agree with Cheryl about how he/she is holding the rifle, except I think it’s their left hand that looks odd. Is it supposed to look like that or was that just a mistake?

    • ReySquared says:

I think I’ve figured it out. It looks strange because you’re assuming that the finger on top is his index finger and that the front of his hand is either wraping over or intersecting (o_O) the gun, whereas in fact it’s his thumb curving over the top of the gun and his fingers are on the bottom.

  8. Sean says:

Oh noes! Lol, I see why the cricket could have been put in the last update; foreshadowing that Jeremy will be alone and have a *cricket… cricket…* moment when the army ain’t there. Poor Jeremy.

  9. Hannah says:

I love this comic! Poor Jeremy, though. Does his Civil War alter ego die?

  10. Ashley says:

I’ve been silently following this for a few weeks now since coming here from being recommended on The Dreamer’s site, but I have to speak now! Love the comic, more so because I would definitely be one of those reenactors (ya, I’m THAT kind of history geek). The suspense is killing me, I can’t wait til tomorrow’s update! Derby day AND Dovecote Crest all in one day, how will I manage the excitement? :D

  11. Excellent article and easy to understand explanation. How do I go about getting permission to post part of the article in my upcoming news letter? Giving proper credit to you the author and link to the site would not be a problem.

Good day! Do you know if they make any plugins to assist with Search Engine Optimization? I’m trying to get my blog to rank for some targeted keywords but I’m not seeing very good gains. If you know of any please share. Cheers!
